Any Given Day brings viewers inside one of Ireland’s busiest hospitals capturing the pace, pressure and everyday reality of Cork University Hospital.
Across a single 24 hour period, 4,000 staff move through wards, operating theatres and emergency departments, caring for 800 inpatients, 800 outpatients and more than 240 emergency cases.
It’s a day where lives change constantly; hearts break and heal, families hold each other up and frontline teams meet every moment with skill, resilience and compassion.

Each episode follows staff on shift and patients on their journey, all filmed within the same day. Together, these stories build a vivid portrait of the hospital and the extraordinary work that unfolds there on Any Given Day.
