Best Place To Be

In the second series of this popular series, Baz Ashmawy returns, bag packed and passport in hand, to hit the road to meet Irish people who have left Ireland behind to set up home somewhere else in the world.

Over the six episodes Baz meets a variety of Irish people who have settled abroad and finds out about their adopted home when it comes to how they live, work and play.

Across the second series, Baz visits Belgium, Portugal, France, Sweden, Switzerland, and Cyprus. In each country he spends time with a host of Irish expats, learning about their new lives and country, finding out why, for them, it’s the Best Place To Be.
